SPC Flooring (Stone Plastic Composite Flooring) is a next-generation engineered luxury vinyl flooring designed with a high-density rigid core. The core is primarily composed of natural limestone powder (calcium carbonate), PVC resin, and stabilizers, creating a flooring solution that delivers exceptional waterproof performance, dimensional stability, and durability.

Unlike traditional vinyl or wood-based flooring, SPC flooring features a dense, stone-based core that resists expansion, contraction, and impact, making it ideal for both residential and commercial applications.

SPC Flooring Core Composition

The defining strength of SPC flooring lies in its advanced core formulation:

• Limestone powder (Calcium Carbonate): 60–70%
  Provides rigidity, structural strength, and impact resistance.

• PVC Resin: 25–35%
  Binds the limestone particles and delivers 100% waterproof performance.

• Stabilizers
  Enhance dimensional stability and resistance to temperature fluctuations.

This high mineral content results in a core density of 1.8–2.1 kg/m³, significantly higher than WPC flooring, ensuring superior load-bearing and long-term durability.

Multi-Layer Engineered Structure of SPC Flooring

SPC flooring is manufactured using a 4–5 layer engineered system, each layer designed for a specific performance function:

1. UV Protective Top Layer
   A transparent ceramic bead UV coating that provides stain resistance, waterproofing, and fade protection.

2. Wear Layer (0.2mm – 0.7mm)
   Protects against scratches, scuffs, and abrasion in high-traffic environments.

3. Decorative Film Layer
   High-definition printed vinyl film replicating wood, stone, marble, or modern designs with remarkable realism.

4. Rigid SPC Core (3.0mm – 6.5mm)
   The structural backbone that ensures waterproofing, impact resistance, and dimensional stability.

5. Integrated Underlayment (Optional)
   IXPE, EVA, or cork underlayments improve sound insulation, walking comfort, and moisture protection.
